Overview

The ability to recruit, motivate and manage employees effectively is considered one of the keys to success in business. Furthermore, ensuring that employees develop professionally is essential for achieving competitive advantages, given that people are one of the key resources in any business.

This course focuses on the key role of people in a successful business. You will learn to understand the importance of the people behind the business and how they help the business prosper.

Designed to give you a thorough grounding in core business skills and concepts, this degree provides you with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the key aspects of Human Resource Management, including how to source, develop, reward, and utilise employees to deliver strategic effects for organisations of all sizes and types.

This degree is in the “business suite” of programmes at ARU London which all have a common first year:

This allows you to gain a broad understanding of the key areas of business.
We know it can be difficult to decide the exact direction you wish your studies to take. Our structure allows you to transfer to one of our “business suite” degree courses, should you wish to.
You are not committed in your area of specialisation; you can do so after your first year at ARU London.

Course Fees:

For 2023-2024 entry, the maximum government-approved undergraduate tuition fee for home students is £9,250 per year. The University is able to charge this fee subject to an approved Access and Participation Plan for 2023-2024 and its current rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework.

EU nationals who meet residency requirements (have settled or pre-settled status) may be eligible for ‘Home’ fee status.
